International Balloon Festival of Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu 

From August 9 to 17, the International Balloon Festival of Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu will be celebrating 25 years of fun and colours!

To mark the occasion, 115 hot air balloons, 13 with amusing shapes, will take to the skies, and a host of talented artists will perform on stage. The Luminarium will captivate children and adults alike with its majestic display of multicoloured light and shapes that awaken the senses!

Die-hard Star Wars fans who are costumed from head to toe will get free admittance to the site on Saturday August 9, Star Wars theme day, when the Darth Vader balloon will be unveiled. And to celebrate in style with its visitors, the Festival will be offering free entry on Thursday, August 14 to everyone aged 25!
