Where?

The Labyrinth Arctic Gardens is situated in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec, about 30 minutes from Montréal, on Boulevard du Séminaire Sud (Route 223), at the corner of Carillon St.

When?

In 2010, The Labyrinth Arctic Gardens is open every day including weekends, from July 10 to August 29.

The site will also be open every weekend in September, as well as Monday, September 6 (Labour Day).

Animals are not admitted to the site.
The paths of the maze are suitable for sturdy strollers.
The Labyrinth Arctic Gardens is accessible to persons with reduced mobility.
We advise you to wear sturdy footwear (rather than sandals) when it rains.
In case of heavy rain, we invite you to call 514-248-9975 to check opening times.
The tap water on the site is not potable!

Directions

By car

From Montréal via the Champlain bridge
Take Highway 10 East to exit 22. Follow directions for Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu via Highway 35 South to exit 7. Turn right onto Séminaire Blvd. and stay on this road, crossing Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu until you reach The Labyrinth approximately 7 km further on, to your right.

From the Eastern Townships
Take Highway 10 East to exit 22, then Highway 35 South towards Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, to exit 7 (follow the Question Mark signs). Turn right onto Séminaire Blvd. and stay on this road, crossing Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu until you reach The Labyrinth approximately 7 km further on, to your right.

Or

Take Highway 10 to exit 29 for Chemin des Patriotes towards Iberville. At the stop, turn left onto Chemin des Patriotes. Stay on this road until you reach the Gouin bridge in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu. Cross the bridge then turn right immediately after the bridge onto Rue du Quai. Turn left onto Richelieu St. At the end of Richelieu St., turn right onto Frontenac St. Turn left onto Jacques-Cartier Nord. Continue on Jacques-Cartier then turn right onto Carillon St. Continue on this road until you reach Séminaire Blvd. You will see The Labyrinth on your right.

From Québec City
Take Highway 20 to exit 113 for Rte. 133 towards Iberville. At the stop, turn left onto Chemin des Patriotes. Stay on this road until you reach the Gouin bridge. Cross the bridge then turn right immediately after the bridge onto Rue du Quai. Turn left onto Richelieu St. At the end of Richelieu St., turn right onto Frontenac St. Turn left onto Jacques-Cartier Nord. Continue on Jacques-Cartier then turn right onto Carillon St. Continue on this road until you reach Séminaire Blvd. You will see The Labyrinth on your right.

Or

Take Highway 20 to exit 98, then follow Highway 30 towards Châteauguay to exit 11. Take Highway 10 towards Sherbrooke, to exit 22, then follow Highway 35 towards Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, to exit 7. Turn right onto Séminaire Blvd. and stay on this road, crossing Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu until you reach The Labyrinth approximately 7 km further on, to your right.

From the United States (Highway 89)
From the Saint-Armand border station, take Rte. 133 towards Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu. Continue on Iberville Blvd. then turn left onto 2e Avenue. Follow 2e Avenue to 2e Rue. Then turn left onto 5e Avenue. Cross Gouin bridge then turn right immediately after the bridge onto Rue du Quai. Turn left onto Richelieu St. At the end of Richelieu St., turn right onto Frontenac St. Turn left onto Jacques-Cartier Nord. Continue on Jacques-Cartier then turn right onto Carillon St. Continue on this road until you reach Séminaire Blvd. You will see The Labyrinth on your right.

From the United States (Highway 87)
From the Saint-Bernard-de-Lacolle border station, take Highway 15 to exit 21, then Rte. 219 towards Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu. Continue onto Saint-Jacques St., then turn right onto Séminaire Blvd. Stay on this road for about 3.5 km (2 miles). You will see The Labyrinth on your right.

From the United States (Lacolle border station)
From the Lacolle border station, take Rte. 223 towards Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu. Stay on this road until you reach Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu. This road is also called Séminaire Blvd. You will come to the Labyrinth on your left.

By bike

Why not stop off at The Labyrinth during a day out on your bike? A cycle path runs along the Richelieu River, very near the site. From there you can get to The Labyrinth quickly by taking the short detour that joins Séminaire Blvd. See the directions in yellow on the map. There are also several other cycle routes not far away: the “small villages” circuit, the Lake Champlain Bikeway and the Mont-Saint-Grégoire circuit. By bus

Public transport is a practical way to reach us. Bus no. 96 runs seven days a week from the Place Bonaventure bus station in downtown Montréal (1000 de la Gauchetière, south platform, gate 18) to the Carrefour Richelieu bus station in Saint-Jean. From there, you can take bus no. 33, direction South.
